For a conference of an international scientific organisation, we installed professional sound systems, simultaneous interpreting equipment and booths for the duration of the event. The interpreters translated the presentations into four different languages, which were also broadcast live on two cameras via Facebook streaming in several languages to online subscribers.
The challenge was that we had to do all this in the middle of the Vértes mountains, where we had to provide internet access at the right speed via a special router.
During the five-day conference, more than 40 hours of presentations were recorded and made available in 4 languages.
During the dinner speeches, our interpreters assisted the participants with mobile tour-guide sets.
Medical professors, psychologists and academics from all over the world gave us feedback that simultaneous interpreting allowed them to focus more on the technical content and less fatigued, so they could participate in more in-depth discussions and conversations during the event.
Operating such complex technology requires a great deal of expertise and organisation. These professional events always give us a great sense of achievement.
