Under the name Innovation Days, we organised a three-day partner meeting in the autumn for the French agricultural company Cargill Neolait. The participants came from Northern and Eastern Europe, but there were also some from our home cities. They really made the most of their three days here, and the programme was quite busy. But let's start from the beginning!
First impressions
The team stayed at the four-star Novotel Danube hotel. It's no secret that the organisers were charmed by the location's panoramic view of the Danube and the Parliament.
Most of them arrived from the airport after short or long trips, so their first impression of Hungary was here and in the hotel. Our hostesses were waiting for them at the airport with name tags, and then our eight-seater minibuses took them to the hotel. Here they were guided by our event manager to ensure that no questions were left unanswered. And a little room decoration - with Hungarian sweets - sweetened their first minutes.
A whole day around the sights of Budapest
After the first morning with the conference, the most interesting part of the programme came. We boarded a bus and the group first looked out of the window of a boat and then walked around the sights of Budapest. In the three hours we were given, we tried to show them all we could - the Parliament, St Stephen's Basilica and the Market Hall.
And of course we didn't forget Buda! The Fisherman's Bastion restaurant was a fitting home for the final dinner.
