International meeting with Hungarian motifs:
Incentive trip for JT International employees
Japan Tobacco International has around 45,000 employees worldwide and is one of the fastest growing tobacco companies in Hungary. The giant company recognised the importance of team building and incentive travel early on: once a year, the Swiss headquarters provides an opportunity for colleagues working in the same field to get to know each other better and to gain new experiences. The venue this time was Balatonfüred, the beautiful Silverine Lake Resort Hotel.
Incentive trip...
JTI Hungary recommended our event management company to the parent company. In order to overcome the physical distance, we used modern tools: we held virtual site visits so that the foreign agency could imagine in advance what the final result would be. The 4-day incentive business meeting took half a year to organise. Every detail was discussed, agreed upon and perfected...
The Hungarian hospitality was presented
JTI staff were welcomed by an airport hostess and then transferred to the venue by VIP Mercedes vans and cars. Upon entering the hotel room, they were greeted with a surprise: a sophisticated welcome gift package with Hungarian delicacies such as Rubik's cubes, brandy and paprika. The guests were treated to a four-course wine dinner at the Horváth House, where the drink specialities were presented by an English-speaking sommelier. Traditional gypsy music accompanied the delicious snacks in the Baricska Csárda, located next to the breathtaking vineyard. During dinner, guests could also enjoy the picturesque panorama of Lake Balaton.
Special outdoor team building with retro vehicles
The Trabant Rally team-building programme is not only great fun, but also a great test of cooperation skills. The JTI staff used GPS coordinates to find the last stop: a barbecue on the rented beach area, where participants could enjoy a private cool-down after the sweaty team-building session.
What made the event so special was the emphasis on fun elements alongside the professional programmes. During the incentive trip, the guests were exposed to a wide range of Hungarian culture, and they will probably never forget their visit.
