A thousand faces of a venue
In June, we had the opportunity to organise a family sports day, for which we recommended the Wonder Island venue on Margaret Island. It's a place where you can feel like you've stepped into a whole other world: an island where you can listen to music, sip lemonade and enjoy the many facilities the venue has to offer, such as a huge trampoline park, a concrete sports field with a streetworkout track, or a sandy beach volleyball court with beanbag chairs. Using all Wonder Island has to offer, we've dreamed up a sports day where young and old can have fun and get moving.
And how did we get 120 people to the centre of the island in 10 minutes? The answer is simple: with golf carts!
How can you show the joy of movement to people of all ages?
The venue provided the opportunity for a wide range of colourful sporting activities at this event. The aim was to show the fun side of sport, which was facilitated by the specially designed point collection booklet. The participants were asked to try their hand at as many stations as possible. During the games, they collected stamps which they could redeem for gifts at the end of the event at our hostesses. Most guests' notebooks were full by the end of the day. There was a whole day of activities to choose from, such as an orienteering scavenger hunt, giant darts football, self-defence training, trampolining and even a fascia training session. And for those who made it through all the stations at breakneck speed, there was no time to be bored. Our additional activities - selfiebox, bouncy castle or self-defence training - kept everyone on the move.
