Spinning games, breathtaking lighting and fun snow shovelling

KCI, a global manufacturer and marketer of wound care products, welcomed around 200 people to its Christmas banquet. The 5-star Corinthia Hotel Budapest, located on the boulevard, with its vast interior space, was the perfect choice to dream up a stunning winter wonderland with LED lighting, themed event decorations and a little imagination.

What makes a successful corporate Christmas banquet?

Our aim was to get colleagues out of the daily grind and have a positive experience of spending their free time together. To do this, it's important to maintain a constant focus and provide exciting activities that not only develop collaborative skills, but are also great fun. With all of this in mind, we designed a programme that could be enjoyed in cocktail dresses and suits appropriate to the banquet.

... And it's even cooler if there's a reward!

In the fast-paced team-building games at the various stations, participants could collect points to bid for super prizes at team level. Instead of using templates, we also came up with unique, personalised activities: snow shovelling proved to be a great fun activity, where the participants had to bring snow-white, tiny balloons from the winter garden to the garden of the elves in costume. For this, over 600 balloons - made of environmentally friendly materials - were blown up beforehand! We didn't mind, as everyone had a fantastic time! J
